Hello Everyone:
I own a mobile home in Angus, Ontario. I had an addition professionally done a few years ago, it's 40 x 12. My problem is ice daming. It is occurring on both the old part of the trailer and the new addition. I am thinking about a new roof, joining both parts of the trailer and addition, by creating a new peak and sloping the roof accordingly. The ice daming is backing up and coming in three different areas of my home. I am looking for some suggestions/imput, ref my thoughts of a new roof. The new roof would be done by professionals, and hopefully done correctly to prevent future problems pretaining to ice daming. Any thoughts?

Hi Haz,

I am going to move your post to the repair forums. This is website questions, meaning if you do not understand how a function of the site works, or have a problem with something not working you post that here.

Merry Christmas,
