Hi Folks,

Cold windy day here in North Carolina, nothing good on the grill. :? Got a stomach bug so I am reduced to bland tasting foods.

Ok, I pretty much know who favors who for drivers but whats your thoughts today, who has the best chance of winning. Who will be the points leader at the end of this 500 miles?

Hopefully everyone has a good race today, next week is Bristol with the COT.

Yo

So JJ wins 2 in row!

Tony almost won.

Junior needs to win since he's negotiating a contract. Do you agree?

Jr needs a win period, I have not checked the points standings yet, but to be sure he must be back there a ways.

Personally I think he needs to move on from DEI,, but then what would DEI stand for if there was not an Earnhardt driving.

YUP, JJ won again! :x I am sure this next statement will bring the wrath of Robert ROFL, but I got a say it anyways...JJ sure did shut the door hard!

I am not a Hendricks fan...

Is Mark Martin finally done racing or is he taking a break?

The next race ought to be different, Bristol with the COT. Don't understand all I know about that either!???

OK, DANCING WITH THE STARS IS ON...

Hey, if it'd been the other way around, Jimmie would have met the wall hard.

Clean pass without touching, gotta love it, LOL !!

Ole Dooner, what can I say,,,,,,,,,,, I just wanna race like you Deddy!!

Hard to win without Michael the puppet pushing him around the tracks.

I'm not a Earnhardt or Stewart fan.

But, it'd get boring if we all liked the same drivers.

See y'all next week.

Yanita,

Mark is sticking to the arrangements he made coming in even if it costs him in points.

He'll be in Florida this w/e with his son watching him run late models.

When they go to Martinsville, he'll be at home on the couch with a remote.

He needed a break and is taking one. He didn't enjoy last 2-3 years and never wants that to happen again.

Those were his words in an interview.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert

As long as those Chevy drivers keep winning, it's all good. Partial to Stewart but JJ is a close 2nd.

Hi Kashton,

Another race fan! Cool! :D

I like Kenseth, he's one of those guys that all of a sudden is in the front pack. LOL, generally do not remember where he started, but all of a sudden there he is.

Generally someone (me) will make a post on race day, feel free to jump in or start the thread!

Look forward to your views on the races! (Mark says we have to be nice) :P

See ya Sunday!

We installed one of our new living room windows last Sunday. Of course the one across the room from the T.V. My husband stood on the latter watching the race most of the time. 4 hours in the cold without a window. I know better than to do things like that on Sunday now.

LOL,

Yup, the only things that get done here on Sundays has to happen before the race, or anything quick enough to be done during cautions!

See ya Sunday!

No comments about Sunday? My man Matt is gonna get a cam again in his car. He was more or less a nobody in the last race. I think I only heard his name mentioned once. Maybe he didn't win cause I was wearing my Talladega nights, Ricky Bobby shirt!

Hi Kashton,

Comments.... heck, I have several NONE of which I can put in print here! LOL. Tony is having his typical first half of the season troubles, 2 speeding down pit road penalties, and now whatever happened to the front of his car!

Was not able to watch the race from start to finish, did catch the first 50 laps off and on, Tony leading! WOO HOO! But being an avid fan of his I know what happens when he takes the lead early and runs the most laps...he finishes last, guess the same held true for this race.

We had company off and on during the race so was unable to watch it, as well as we were installing the water garden/pond feature! Digging, digging and more digging! One of our friends just completed their water feature so they had a good amount of stone left over, but we needed to get it by Sunday, so I missed the race.

Have not checked out the NASCAR.COM site, to see what happened. Hate that new site, and really frustrated with Tony's start this year.

Matt is seldom talked about alot during a race. He's one of those sly drivers...all of a sudden he is in the picture!

Have a great day,

~Yanita~
