ac/heat damper help

hi robbert,

can u give me a heads up about the built in damper you mentioned like hoe it is turned off and on or switch between ac and heat, how can i tell if there is one already there?

Hi Ed,

It would attach to the main trunkline and the supply flex would attach to other end of it.


So, if there, remove flex supply duct where it connects at home duct trunkline IF it attaches to a connector type collar.


Look inside for damper shutter(s).


It is a one way damper and opens and closes on airflow.

The air blows it open and when a/c is off and no airflow, it stays closed.
