I have a Coleman Presidential II furnace that went out on me last March.

Here is what's going on:
When I turn the thermostat up, I can hear the furnace click on, and can hear the draft inducer motor (I'm assuming that's what the "humming" is), but the blower never starts up. It will just constantly "hum", until I turn the thermostat down.
The pilot stays lit. The blower will come on if I turn it to "manual" (although I don't get any heat this way-it just blows room temp air).
I haven't yet checked if the burners light. Would I be able to see them light through the pilot hole? From what I understand, the blower motor won't run until the burners flame up and the appropriate temp is reached in the furnace?
I am a single parent, and really am frustrated about this, as I don't want my child (or my pipes) to freeze this winter. I already blew out my stove ignitor trying to heat my house up last March!
I'm hoping it's an easy fix, or if you can help me troubleshoot further, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!
