Hello! I have a Double wide manuf.1997 that has a Coleman Evcon EB12B A/C Heat unit. It has been in the 90s here in South GA. The A/C has been working fine till late this evening when I noticed no cool air coming from the vents. We turned it all off and decided to call repairman in a.m. Then I found you. Thought I'd read first then see what goes. It was abt 2:00 a.m. when I awoke and thought I would turn the A/C back on and just see what happened. We have cool air again. I have it set at 78. What happened here? Any ideas? Thank you...

Hi,

A-Coil above furnace may have froze up, then thawed out while off.

If it does this again, remove top louvered door panel and see if A-Coil is frozen over.

Could also be a bad contactor in outside condensing unit not making and holding contact, therefore no compressor or condenser fan.

Also check outside unit if it does it again and see if fan and compressor are running.

Originally from SC and hunted a lot in Ga., so know how hot/humid it is.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
