Nordyne M1MB 090A BW will not light

Help it's cold here It seem that my furnace will not light. I hear clicking sounds but will not light then I get 4 flashes on the red led. could this be from a bad ignition light. if yes can I buy this part like at home depot The yellow will not turn on

Hi,

Four flashes indicates failed ignition which is usually either a gas valve, ignitor or remote flame sensor problem.


On your furnace, the ignitor is also the flame sensor, so that narrows it down to two in most cases.


I would suspect the ignitor first. It cannot be bought at HD or Lowe's, etc., it must be bought from an HVAC Supply.
