In all honesty that should be "current members in good standing" . The actual number of members that were approved is about double that. All it takes is 1 spam, they are deleted & banned, no questions asked. Greg

Hey Demo,

Thanks for keeping track, but every 30 days or so I go thru all registrations. I delete accounts that have not been used since the time they were created, providing that account is 30 days or older.

Hope that makes since, but it does change the stats....

Congrats to ourselves indeed! But do we all know where are kids are and what they are doing at this hour? (meant to be an old TV joke)

LOL,

Well yes I do know where my kids are at this exact hour...the youngest is sleeping as he works nights, the oldest is working until 6PM.

Have a great day!

I have to do the same thing on the forums I run, otherwise we'd have a kazillion members.

People always sign up on the forums and then never post. I can't figure out this trend. They can view the forums fine without posting.

We have classifieds for our members, and we used to get a lot of one post wonders who would post stuff for sale. Had to put a stop to that.

My other boards do the same thing - delete after 30 days of non-use.

Yanita,

Please don't delete me!! I don't post much, but read all the time and want the option of asking questions or making a comment from time to time.
I love this site!!

Hi,

No worry,

The site actually shows the last time you viewed the forums, in other words in your account it shows your active and the last time you signed in. I do not delete accounts where the user views the forum and does not post.

The only accounts that get deleted after 30 to 45 days are those that created an account and never came back to even read the post. LOL, there are no points or awards for the most post on this site. You are welcome to just view the site and post when you want! :D

If or when I have doubts I leave the account alone or notify the user.

Your safe!

Happy New Year,

Yanita
