[*]ok so the foundation has been painted before we bought our house and I think its time to change the color.

What is the best primer and paint?I want to start in a day or two before all my floers get to big.

Depending on how porous the block still is may determine the approach. If there are still open pores, then I would use a thick paint designated for concrete foundation walls. Otherwise any good exterior latex paint should work fine. Best is very subjective and opinionative.

I stayed on the safe side even though it had been previously painted. I went with block fill primer. I have a lot to be finished but the first test looks really good. I am going to use the same brand exterior latex paint.

Should look nice when I get it done................when its the big question lol
