May 17, 2009, Frosty morning, plant protection, new trellis

Good thing we had the plastic ready for the plants that are already in the garden. It was a hard frost and another is expected tonight! Our last frost date here is June 10! But, we are going to set the greenhouse plants out next weekend anyway as they are all getting too big.
Ron built me a new planter box and trellis for the patio area as the old one was falling apart. Kind of hard to see the old one with all the plants but the poles were rotted and so was the planter box.

Don't feel alone, the weather here is not much better, We had to move plants in last week, and they are calling for frost here tonight.

Almost 80* yesterday, strong storms in the afternoon, and 40* this morning. Greg
