We're taking down the mid-wall border in the living room 1st, then painting.
I peeked under a batten strip and I only have a teeny tiny space between wallboards- so if I decide to mud it should be short and sweet.
Although I found this great seam tape that I'm going to try out first, no drying time!

We will probably use their Prime and Paint too, check out the comparison they did to other primers!

Congrats on the move in...

As I said in an earlier post...the gaps between the wall boards will not be uniform from panel to panel.

Good luck.

So true about those rascals not being the same. I was delighted ....at first, at how tiny the seams were, but others were not only wider, but sometimes uneven as well. Not to discourage you; just be forewarned.

I know, it's a bummer, huh? I just didn't want you to get your hopes up and then get hit with the wide ones. Maybe you'll get more of the thin ones though. Hey, that's a new greeting for mobile home owners: "May all your seams be thin ones."
