Hi. I just became a member & was reading your post about putting trim on the windows. My DH & I are currently reno'ing a MH that we will be moving into this spring, hopefully. Anyway, I'm doing most of the inside work & he's doing the outside stuff.

I just finished up the trim around the LR & Kitchen windows not long ago... It makes a huge difference! What I did was bought that plastic/foamy feeling baseboard trim, it's about 2 3/8" wide & has the wood grain look which almost perfectly matches the other trim. Anyway, this stuff works great, b/c when you nail the trim on, the screws that stick out kind of just squish into the soft underside of the trim. This trim is less expensive than the real wood trim also, but be careful, b/c it does scar up pretty bad when working w/ it.

LOL...it took me about 20 tries of readjusting my compressor so I didn't leave indents or anything.
