I'm new to this forum and glad to have found this. I recently bought a 1968 Broadmore mobile home and am wondering about the company and how this trailer was made. I haven't been able to find anything so far.

It's an odd mixture of some very nice things, such as the wood panelling, and some tricky things, such as aluminum wiring.

Anyone know some history or where I can found out more about what I've got?

Hi & welcome to the family. Due to a few factors it may be difficult if not impossible to find out much.
First the age of your home, a 40 year old car can be hard to find info on, but if you spend some time you may be able to find some.
Second, HUD. In the 70's and 80's HUD became involved in the Mobile Home industry, MANY makers simply went out of buisness or were sold to larger companies. Again it will take some searching. Many builders were regional, they may have been big in your area and unheard of in the rest of the country. If you have some dealers in your area that have been around for 30 -40 years ask them, they may help.
Aluminum wiring was common in that era in all types of homes.
Perhaps others in your area will add to this. Greg
