Hey JD! We took the ferry to Vancouver Island to visit my dad & sisters. had 5 BBQ's in a row-YUMMY. Took my son mini golfing & go cart racing then shot a hundred balls at the driving range. lots of swimming and golfing too. Wife bought lots at IKEA and son went ape at Toys R Us. When we were coming home we got caught in a road block protest and were stuck in 40 degree celcius weather (over 100 F. ) for over an hour. We witnessed a raging fire at Lac la Hache. buildings were entirely engulfed in flames. Got home and been busy hitting the beaches and hotsprings. too bad water still high or would take my son fishing(oh well) been having fun all month anyway. Hows everyone elses holidays going?

Wow, great vacation with added bonus attractions for the way home. I have been to Vancouver Island a couple of times. Don't remember a lot about it any more. I was very young then and all the Bainbridge, Whidbey, Vancouver and Victoria islands kind of blend together to me.

Glad to have you back. Now get to work! :)

What...

a month of vaca...man around here we get 2 weeks, and do to the nature of our work we generally can not get 2 consecutive weeks!

LOL, Troyster, I agree with JD, time to get back to work!

Hope you had a great vaca, sounds like you did...mine is sometime in August, off to Vermont, October is Concorde, NC and Dec is Florida!

Gotta keep real busy between now and then!
