Hi

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service.

Wishing everyone a safe Memorial Day.

That's a long list of soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could enjoy our freedom. Last Salute.

"Taps"

Fading light dims the sight,
And a star gems the sky, gleaming bright.
From afar drawing nigh. Falls the night.
Day is done, gone the sun,
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky.
All is well, safely rest. God is nigh.
Then good night, peaceful night,
Till the light of the dawn shineth bright,
God is near, do not fear. Friend, good night.

General Daniel Butterfield
Battle in Virginia in 1862

Thank you JD! Also Harry!

I'm a little late with my greeting, but I couldn't have said it any better!

Hoping all have a nice holiday, but take time to remember those that have given their lives for our freedoms.

Stay safe!
