Just installed a new Water Boss(700)unit.It is located in one of our closets . Is it normal to have some 'condensation' on the in-connection at the unit or would there might be some possible leakage ? I had it reconnected by the installer yesterday & it's still wet there today!!

Hi

Around here it would be a leak.

To find the leak dry it off real good and watch it with a bright light.

Aside from the roof leak, soft floors, rats, mice and bursted plumbing ........ how do you like it?

You may also consider putting some insulation on the inlet pipe. If the water coming from the earth is 50 degrees and the house is 70 degrees you can get condensation. Just like when you set a glass of cola on the table. Also put insulation on the outlet piping so you dont waste energy from the water you just paid to heat.
All this of course after you have investigated the leak thing.
Call Dinwiddie Demolition we'll tear that house right down.

ok---We're in great shape now!! The installer replaced the elbow fittings that appears to have done the job. Also, with our plugged hard water/lime build up problem, found a guy that purrged the lines w/acid and cleared them out great!! Water pressure everywhere, like it should be!! Now w/the softner and new heat tape,we should be all set. Boy,it feels graet to have everything in 'workin' order" .. You all have a nice day because I sure am !!!!!!!!!!!! Ron
