I have a couple of gophers who are building a small city near my septic tank. Not sure if they could damage it, but either way... GOPHERS GOTTA GO!

Any tricks or tips?

Other than traps, try dropping a hand full of moth balls down their holes. Greg

My Black Lab was good at getting rid of moles. An older dog is too lazy to dig at random. Let the dog hang out and relax, then let her dig up the rodent.
Call Dinwiddie Demolition we'll tear that house right down.
Sweep up every splinter n haul it out of town

Hi Mobtek,

Since this is not (at least not yet :P ) a repair issue I am going to move this to the OFF TOPIC forum. Please follow us there.

Yo Demo

Actually the moles down here are mammals.

I wonder if makes any difference to the Black Lab??

Aside from the roof leak, soft floors, rats, mice and bursted plumbing ........ how do you like it?

Please don't laugh at me, but we were almost scared to walk in our yard because of mole tunnels. I went to the garden supply store to buy some poison and the owner told me about whirligigs. He said when the little statue/wooden thing on top hammers, the vibration goes down the pole and frightens away the moles. We bought one and my friend with the same problem bought some. NO MORE MOLES. I was glad to not have to put poison down because I have a dog and was afraid she'd get into it. Here's a website:

When the little man chops the wood, it makes a thunking sound. I'm always happy when he's chopping because I know he's actually running the moles away.

Trust me - the only thing I am laughing at is myself, running around the yard "chasing gophers". Pesky little #*&$#$*.

That is a brilliant idea. Thanks!
