OK, have to vent a minute.

We're in the middle of winter storm number 2 for this week. Number 3 could hit by the weekend, although some predictions think it may instead hit east. But come on -- 3 storms in ONE WEEK.

Tired of shoveling snow. Tired of clearing windows. Tired of wearing boots. Spring can't get here fast enough!

Anyway, tired of dealing with all that white crap. But of course, we still have nothing to really complain about compared to all the snow places in New York & others have gotten this winter.

Ok, done venting although my blog will probably hear about this! Still snowing tho! :?

LOL Mark,

Yup, I remember all those storms when we lived in Vermont. Do I miss it, sometimes, but winters like they have gotten this year does not make me wish to go back! Do not know about your area but Spring in Vermont typically never really got there until the middle of April.

Although I do not miss digging out the car, or having to get a boost to start the car, I do miss not being able to play in the snow with my Granddaughters, there is fun in making them and then the snowball fights....

While you are waiting for Spring to arrive, get the bike into the shop for its annual tune up, and start making plans! :D

I was just telling Yanita what a mild Winter we've had the other day. Then the sky opened up and started dumping on us LOL! We had the series of three storms come through here also. This last one actually just dumped in the mountains. We didn't get much.

Now, what I am really tired of is that biting cold wind coming from the Northwest! I'm also tired of being in the house a lot. Need to get out and not only see the sun, but feel it on my face!

JMW, Where abouts are you located? I'm just west of Syracuse. Greg

I was born and raised in Connecticut until I joined the service in 1981. I have been in Florida since 1989, and miss seeing the change of seasons.
It is hard to feel the Christmas spirit when you have to mow your yard and realize your sweating in December.

Yes I realize it is nice and warm here, and I do not miss the icy roads and all that shoveling. But Believe it or not, the sunshine state is not always a day at the beach!
:P
Warm thoughts to all of you out there.

I HATE winter. I thought it was weird and mentioned something about there really not being much of a winter sometime in the beginning of January. That'll teach me to keep my mouth shut! (Although I did plant daffodils on Thanksgiving). My consulation is that in less than a month my DD and I will be basking in the sunshine in Florida at Disneyworld. March 22nd can't come fast enough for me.

Just 8 more years and more of our winters will be spent south. Gotta get our 4th grader graduated first! LOL. Despite the cold and snow, Aberdeen is still a pretty good place to raise a kid.
