I am new to this forum. I do Demolition for a living and I am considering
adding Demolition of dilapidated mobile homes to my list of services.

So why am I here?

I want to learn the correct name of all the parts of a mobile home,
what the house is made of and how it is put together.

Do I hate Mobile Homes? NO, I live in one.
My Mobile Home cost $800 and it is paid for.

I am looking forward to learning from everybody here.

As soon as our attorney gets us the title, I got one in the park I manage that will need demolished. It was abanonded by the owner leaving it for us to deal with. The city inspector walked in and walked out full of flees! LOL.

Thanks for the Reply. I just started a Group on this topic and posted some tips on how to effectively demolish a mobile home.
When I learn more, I will post more.

BTW - I would suggest about $500 in labor to do a 12 x 60 unit.
I came up with that number based on Man Hours for the job.

You don't make a lot of money off the scrap metal.
Be prepared for some charges at the City Dump for the trash.

Hi,

Welcome to the site.

Here is a link that list the parts of our home. Our parts or not really named differently, just assembled differently.
