I think I first posted about replacing my heater in Aug. Since then,I've been trying to get someone to just return phone calls.
Either they never return phone call at all, or they chat with me, say they will look into the heater and never call back.

I have a Rheem, 30 gal, electric.
The only plumbing place that is local and reputable, sells only State and AO Smith. Their MH heater is slightly bigger than the old one. I can have someone come and measure to see if it will work

It is $565... Plus installation, of course. .That seems awfully high to me. Is that what I can expect to pay?

That does sound like a lot for an electric water heater. Lowe's in my area sells a mobile home approved 40 gallon Whirlpool for $312. Rheems will sell for more. But $565 sounds like a lot to me.
