We heard what sounded like a bang somewhere between the end wall and maybe under the floor in our bedroom, near the bathroom, which is at the end of our house. Around 9PM, and noticied it every few minutes. I couldn't see anything outside like animals, and our enclosure is well covered. I think I woke up a few times during the night and heard it, although not as loud. I tried the water in the bathroom this morning and it was fine. Any guesses on the noise?

Is it possible that it was a heat duct? Do you have metal siding? Greg

It sounded like a small animal running into the house, except it seemed to almost come from under the house. Anyway it just happened 2 nights ago, not last night.
I'm due to go under the house to check(that's where my hdtv is ).

Is the skirting tight with no holes? Greg

Hi Scott, without a profile, I'm trying to remember where you're located.

If you're located in an area that normally has mild temps, and now you're running you furnace during the night... then most likely, it's just the ducts expanding.

If not, then yeah, it takes going down under and investigating the situation. Like Yanita mentioned last night, this is the reason that we harp on belly, insulation and skirting in perfect condition
