For reasons unknown, in the past, the exterior of my DW was repainted and given a popcorn/pebble texture. It is impossible to keep clean - it gets black mold quickly and since there is a texture, it takes a lot of time to power wash all the dirt from around each popcorn. You have to turn the spray to the highest setting and narrow the width of the spray to about 2 inches.

Can anybody recommend products or procedures to help? I have a decent power washer I got from Home Depot.

Vinyl siding.

As far as cleaning it, try a turbo tip on your washer. You may have to play with the pressure and distance but they do a great job on tough dirt. Other than that, replace the siding.
