gutters & vinyl siding

I would like to know if it is possible to install rain gutters with vinyl siding? I replace my hard board siding this summer with vinyl siding - there is no roof overhang. I know you aren't supposed to nail or screw anything through the vinyl siding so my question is how can I attach rain gutters??

If you have the small metal U shaped gutters it is a very simple install, just slip the new gutters behind & under the old ones.

there were no gutters before - the siding goes right up to the edge of the roof

The only other Idea I have would be to slip it behind the drip edge if you have a shingle roof. Can you post a picture?

If it's a metal roof, then just attach the gutter clips to the studs, clip on the gutters, and use 100% silicone to seal between the top of the gutter and the siding.
