installing a metal roof on a double wide

can installing a metal roof on a double wide be a DIY project, I would like to have a metal roof so we never have to worry about it again it is almost too expensive to hire it done. any thoughts ?

Anything can be DYI project. It depends largely on your skill level and confidence. There are people that really should not attempt to change a light bulb and others that can do anything to their home.

I would recommend reading up as much as possible on the project and then mapping out the job. If you feel you can do it, than go for it. You should also check with the codes office in your town for any restrictions they may put on the job.
