Is it advisable to repair an old mobile home before moving it? Ours need some work on the roof. We want to tear out all the old carpeting, etc and fix the soft spots in the floor and put all new flooring in, probababy do electrical work, etc. Is this something we could do while we wait for the contracter to put in our drive and the concrete peirs, etc, so that we can move the mobile home to our pproperty? Or would we end up needing to redo most of it anyway? Thanks!

I think I would start on the job before you move it. You could do the floor and Electrical with no problem, But I would wait to do the finish work & roof until the home is set on the new site.
