So we started remodeling the 1st half of our 93 doublewide. We took all the paneling down and put up drywall. Then, to deal with the crappy popcorn-style ceilingg, we installed 1" strips and hung 1/2" drywall from them! It looks AMAZING! Not at all like a doublewide! We also extended the seam on the ceiling down 8" and it just looks awesome! I can't wait until it's finished! :D
