Skirting issue after level ?

I leveled my MH and we had to raise the front approx 3 inches and now the skirting is off the ground, approx 4"

When Sears installed vinyl siding they sided the home all the way to the ground, so now I need to add on the bottom of the siding , I'm thinking of just adding some 5 1/4 deck boards to the bottom edge, or is there a better way to do this ??

Possibly set a pressure treated 6x6 as a bottom and fasten the bottom channel to it. That would also be more weedeater resistant.
