Hello, my parents are moving their 14x70 mobile home and they were told they had to concrete footeres. Does anyone know how much this costs?? They bought their mobile home new in 1997 and it's been sitting in the same spot ever since. We moved my trailer 3 1/2 years ago and it's sitting on nothing but creek gravel. We rent our lot and that's what was there when we moved in, someone just told me that it's illegal for it to be sitting on gravel it has to be, well then concrete pads. Thanks in advance.

My first question is who told them it had to be on concrete footers? Most codes do require concrete footers, but it does very from area to area. If you are in a park, They usually pour a pad before the home is set.
As long as it was not a codes officer that told them this I would not worry much after 13 years. Greg
