Hi guys i'm new here and just bought a 1986 double wide 1850 square ft trailer for 2k that needs a little tlc here and there but very livable i will add. anyways i want to replace the main back door in the laundry room with a standard size house door because i can't get a couch or fridge in lol and was wondering how hard of a task this is.I'm pretty handy with some tools but i've never replaced a whole door frame or window before and that is exactly what i wanna do to this.

Any ideas guys? Thanks!

Hi & welcome. The first thing you need to do is measure the height and make sure you can get a full size door in. You will need to reframe and have enough room for a double (at least) top header. Keep in mind that some electrical may need to be moved also.

Mark, the owner of this site has a book in the 'Books & parts" section that covers this & most other repairs & upgrades. Greg
