cost to replace siding

I've got a 16X76 MH built in 1991 that has the wood siding that is disintegrating! I know there must be damage underneath that will need to be fixed but can someone give me a rough idea what it costs to remove the existing siding and replace it with some vinyl siding assuming there is no damage underneath?? I just would like to have an idea what kind of money I am going to need to start saving. Is there anything I can do to keep it from getting any worse until I get the money together??

Have you looked in your local phone book or asked around town as to what siding companies are available. Most reputable companies will come on site and do a free estimate. Get more than one estimate of course, they should all be right around the same as far as price goes. Ask them for references or letters of recomendation. You'd be suprised how many people will write a letter to the company expressing their satisfaction on a job well done. Goodluck!
