Well got floors up and all the insulation is wet, so I am replacing it. But also found mold and mildew in walla. What's the best way to get rid of it?

I had heard that bleach will kill the mold and mildew. For inside a wall, I don't know if a spray bleach (ie Clorox Kitchen Cleanser) would be better. My aunt took up her floor after her fridge leaked, and poured some bleach on the mildewed areas.

Saxman, realistically the only way to get rid of the mold is to replace the sheetrock. You may kill it, but the spors will still be there. plus when you open the wall up you can find the source of the moisture that causes the mold. It can be a major job, but if you are going to do the job, do it once the right way. Gregf
