1971 KIT DW

I am purchasing a 1971 KIT DW, it has the original rolled metal roof with a raised ridge beam. I want to install a metal roof but I'm not sure about a ridge cap that will go over the raised ridge. Is anyone aware of a roof kit or a list of appropriate materials that would work well for a DIY in Idaho? Also, I am interested in restructuring the gable ends and soffits because there really doesn't seem to be much structure under the aluminum...
