Exterior Paint Choices

Im fixing up my 1980 Conner mobile home. Ive never painted metal and want to be sure the paint sticks to it. The home is surrounded by woods and only gets direct westerly sun on the siding for about 3-4 hours.

After reading a few past posts Im gonna check out Sherwin Williams. Anyone have experience with Sherwin Williams Duration, SuperPaint, Everlast (at Lowes), or WeatherShield (at Lowes)? Not sure which one works best on my siding :? However, the lady at lowes said I need to use Valspar Anti-Rust Armour since it is metal siding. Is this true??? The screws are rusty but the siding has no rust.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Personally I would stay with a Paint store like Sherwin williams or Glidden and get their advice. The home center people are hit & miss with their advice as evidenced by their steering you an anti rust paint. I'm not saying it is not a good paint but there are others out there that will do the job also.

Yes, Home Depot and other DIY/home works shop clerks are not necessarily knowledgeable about what they're selling... And even if they are, you may well be asking about paints while the employee is the store's plumbing expert. So, I'd second Greg's advice and go ask in a specialised paint shop.
