My 1974 mobile home has a good porch roof that is corrugated and has nice pink stars printed on the underside. It appears sturdy enough to support a 4 by 8 sheet of plywood 1/2 inch thick or more. I need to go out on the roof to clean up and seal up the metal flashing that is at a 45 degree angle from the edge of the home roof down to the surface of a flat steel plate over the corrugated pieces.

Tough to say for sure. If you add a sheet of plywood I would be concerned about the sheet sliding off of the roof with you on it.
Is it possible to come over the top from the other side?
