1) Is there a special type of adhesive I should use or would any construction adhesive do?
2) Any ideas on how do I keep the tiles from falling while the glue dries?

I have some tiles that were glued in place and fell off. These are vertical tiles along the facing edge of the bathroom counter top. I was wondering two things:
1) Is there a special type of adhesive I should use or would any construction adhesive do?
2) Any ideas on how do I keep the tiles from falling while the glue dries?
