Hi friends,
I hope everyone had a happy Easter. Here is my question. My mother lives in a double wide mobile home. She has a front porch attached to the mobile home with steps , handrail and bottom rail with balusters surrounding the porch. The dimensions are roughly 12' (length) X 24' wide = approx. 288 sq. feet I suppose. She wants to hire a handyman to paint this porch. My question is simply how much would you be willing to pay some one to do a job like this, mostly labor because my mother purchased all the paint and some other supplies from Lowes.

I would really appreciate any replies. Thanks--

That is a loaded question. Personally I would not pay anyone since I am fully capable of doing it my self.
That said, the question would be what is a fair price for the job. You did not say how much prep work will be needed before any paint can go on. I would guess, and that is all it is would be is to figure a day to prep & paint if it is not that bad.
