Hi All! I'm new to this forum and mobile home ownership :)
We would like to fix up our 1966 bathroom we own a single wide, and it seems the bathtub and vanity are the originals in seafoam green from 1966 when our mobile home was built. The previous owners put a "bathfitters" type of surround around our tub and covered the window!! Showering is DARK. The rest of the bathroom is covered in plastic walls in the same seafoam green. It's like an Austin Powers movie

How difficult is it to remove these walls and put up sheetrock or tile etc.? I'd like to get it to look more like 2017.

A lot of the answer depends on you. How deep do you want to get involved the the project. You will find that with enough planning and money ANYTHING is possible and can be done. Windows can be added, walls can be moved or changed. Depending on the depth of what you want the job could take some time to complete, that may be the reason tor the tub overlay much faster.
