I see that most stairs made for mobile homes are the fiberglass kind. I'm sure they work fairly well, but can anyone recommend a good website that sells some steel/wood stairs? I'm wanting something a little more sturdy.

Thanks!

I've never seen any 'pre-made' steel stairs for MH. That said - you might check CraigsList for your area for a welder who will give you a bid to build to your liking.

I have seen a few sets of pre-made metal stairs, but I doubt they would be as durable as the fiberglass/concrete versions (at least in the context of cost savings.) That being said we have a post about mobile home stairs and the metal stairs listed are from Stromberg Carlson. But, you can find some heavier duty looking versions here, but they are just as expensive as fiberglass. Hope that helps!

How about precast concrete? Or build your own wood set. There are pre cut stringers ant most home stores.
