Going to replace gutters. How they have been catching rain and lasting this long is anyone's guess. I know there will be a lot of cutting involved my concern is two-fold. First, can I reuse the old nails or do they need to be new? Will the exiting nail holes be too loose or will the new nails fit the exiting holes? Secondly, since the gutters appear to drip at the downspout end and between the facia and the length of the downspout is there any anything else that I am overlooking in terms of preparation for new installation. Since there is leaking/dribbling going on between the overhang and the gutter is there anything else that I need to be aware of?
Appreciate your thoughts and comments,

Most people here simply ADD a standard 4" gutter under the factory rolled "gutter". You can either cut the old gutter off of or simply fold it down into the new gutter.
You can do a quick search on gutters here, it has been discussed in the past, I think JD did a good post on it a few years back.
