I have a Champion 4 toilet that I bought a few years ago. Works GREAT! I did replace the plastic seat and plastic handle. Also replaced the chain inside.

This was the first toilet I ever bought and had no knowledge of the "rules of engagement." After it was installed (by that handyman I had since 1996 who ran out owing me over $500), I was thrilled. But while cleaning it later, I noted that the shiny porcelain was missing in spots on the lower edge of the rim. There was just bare white stuff that looked like grainy plaster. The longer I've noticed this, the more it bothers me.

Is there some kind of paint or epoxy or ??? that I can use to repair this? (Keep in mind I only have one toilet, so it would be difficult to not be able to use it. Maybe I could use a trash can with a plastic liner temporarily, but not my idea of fun.)

Thanks for any help on this.

most hardware stores have chip repair kits, I would check them and see if they may work.
