2001 double wide.
Anybody have any luck adding insulation to the "attic" space?

The summers here in Louisiana have been ultra hot. My ac is working fine but I'm having heat inflation through the ceiling.
I have 3 roof vents that are easily removed that would I've me some access to the ceiling area.

Has anybody ever tried to blow in insulation through these holes

Or somehow add roll insulation

It may be easier to add a second roof. A free standing pole barn type roof would put the home in shade and and make things cooler.

I had a EPDM Rubber Roof put on my 1985 MH. The installers recommended that they add 3'' Board Insulation under the Rubber Roofing, which I did. The Cost was Very Reasonable with a 12 Year Warranty. It really keeps it Noticeably Cooler in the Summer and a lot Warmer in the Winter. It also added extra Strength to my Roof which was another Plus.
Along with 2'' Board Insulation added to the inside of my Skirting, my old MH is Pretty Comfy all Year Round.
