Skirting Vents?

Norm Frechette I have the exact type of skirting, and those things are tough as nails. of course they aren't resistant to weed eaters but they are easy to repair with the thick white tape or use a piece from of an extra panel of siding and glue it straight over the hole from the back. ive had them since about 1998 and a couple years ago they started looking chalky and approaching crumbly....so i painted them with a few coats of latex paint, then once that dried i went over it with a tough clear coat. good as new.
