Hey all:
(14 x 70 single wide) I have relocated all the plumbing/Pex to above the floor and reinsulated between all the 2 X 6s with new insulation. The heat ducts have been covered sufficiently too. Insulation has been supported with rigid wire supports, poly twine and wire . It is not coming down soon! Anyway, I have new belly bottom material. (The official black woven stuff). It's quite light weight I noticed, but how best can I attach to the joists? I was going to roll it to triple thickness on the outer edges and staple with 1/2" staples along all the joists in sufficient quantity. It's not supporting the insulation, so there is no weight on it. Thoughts? Do I need to use furring strips and nail it. That's seems overkill to me, but I may be wrong. Maybe just use furring strips on the outer rim joists?
Thanks for your opinions. Todd
