]It's been awhile, we've been remodeling like crazy and I wanted to share some of the results...and ask a question. Here are the before and after shots....my question is this: I don't want to replace the pantry door, but make it look more "barn" like, (beadboard, 1x3 trim, heavy iron hardware). I'm not replacing the current hinges, only disguising them with iron and black paint, so I wonder if they will be strong enough to handle the added weight? Or if I will have problems down the road with sagging? This door is typical for a MH, hollow, not real wood I'm sure.

I think you will be fine with the added weight, Those hinges are stronger than you think.
