Please I need help!!! I have a 1999 clayton single wide, I am getting ready for winter and i am confused on what i need to do to the furnace. It has never been cleaned except for washing the filters. The closet the furnace and the water heater is in full of dust on the walls. What do i need to do first. I know now that i need to get a cleaner for the A-coil and do that and buy new filters, but what else??? Can i get anyother filters besides the metal mesh ones. Is there one for the panel door so the closet wont get dusty again. Is there a filter for the panel in the blower compartment, it doesnt have slats so i questioned that. Please help me.

Thanks
allen

Hi Allen,

What is your furnace model number ? The only filter recommended or needed is the one at furnace for return air.

Go to top blue toolbar, click HVAC, then click Articles and read those on cleaning your a/c and blower.

Thanks,
Robert
