I had problems my Intertherm electric furnace and read some of the topics here. I decided that digging into my furnace to try the repair on my own was not a wise idea. I found a great MH parts dealer that could have sold me a new furnace but recommended an inspection to see if it could be repaired. They were very friendly and patient on the phone and the two men that came out were courteous and professional. They repaired my furnace for 138.00.
If you live in central Alabama I highly recommend Alabama Mobile Home in Cottondale 205-556-1151.

Hi,

Just want to add here that in 30+ years of hvac, I have never advised replacing an electric furnace with a new one.

You can completely refurbish for half the cost usually and be as safe and efficient as new.

Glad you found a great company to work with you and I applaud them for repairing and doing what is best for you the customer.

Thanks,
Robert
