good morning,
i have a coleman model #DGAT056BD , the furnance fires for a very short period (about 5 secs)
than goes out and it will cycle and do it again and just keeps repeating this, the blower is working fine i replaced the batterys in the therostat there are no codes flashing, what could the problem be? thanks Joe
burner comes on for a very short time
Hi,
Check the remote flame sensor for cracks and clean the rod with steel wool.
Could also be the ignitor, blockage in burner orifice or orifice spud(spider/web), dirty burner.
Try those first and if still not resolved, call an hvac tech out for testing of furnace components.
Thanks,
Robert
