replacing heating and ac

We live in central KS and are wanting to replace our existing heating and cooling system.
Our home is a 1982, 14x80 Wayside. The heater is Coleman (original) and the ac unit was replace once, about 20 years ago. Do we just need to find a person the specializes in mobile homes or will any HVAC company be able to do the work for us. I know we need a special unit because of the limited space that it is located in. How do we go about finding a person to do the work?
Thanks,
Susan

Hi Susan,

Any hvac contractor can do the hvac part, but mobile home hvac knowledge is needed also because things are different.

Look for hvac companies who do mobile home hvac sales-service-installation .

Check with family, friends, neighbors, mobile home dealers, hvac supply stores, yellow pages, BBB, etc. to find 2 to 3 and go from there.

Have an ACCA Manual J Load Calculation done from them to know size units needed. IF they do not do Manual J, keep looking and move on.

Thanks,
Robert
