Ok about three years ago I had some issues with my ac system. Luckily I had some phone support to get it going again. Last year... same thing. Cap popped.... Yesterday.... you guessed it, cap popped. Ok this thing it 13+ years old. It's a 3.5 ton 10 SEER on a 3k sqft 1996 Sunshine 16x80 mh.

Intertherm MGBB-070ABFC-06
Goodman CK42-1C

I've noticed last summer and this summer during the weekends it is running non-stop... I've had it checked out and the coils cleaned two years ago and I cleaned them the beginning of this summer. Didn't help......

So now I'm looking for a tech to do the install. Problem is I don't want to go by just what the installer has to say. I want to know what is being installed to replace this size unit!?!?!

Hi,

Replacement would be best if feasible at this time. Otherwise, need a competent hvac tech to diagnose reason for problems you've been having.

Also, 16X80 is not 3K sq.ft., it is 1280 sq. ft. .

Thanks,
Robert
