I have a Goodman furnace GMNT060-3 and having an intermittent problem where the furnace goes off and a single blinking light about every two of three seconds. This can happen days or weeks, months apart. To restart I turn off the furnace power switch and turn it back on the furnace resets and starts up. Five different techs have looked at the problem, cleaned parts and, one the cleaned the flame sensor, but same problem. The last one replaced the high limit switch they said the furnace was going to hot over 170 degrees and cycling on the thermo disk. The last techs did a complete test and check airflow etc.
The Goodman furnace has preformed well, until this gremlin started a year ago and techs seem to be puzzled and out of ideas—plus service & part replacement are not cheap. Furnace filters are kept clean/replaced, gas pressure has been checked, as have other parts/wiring, venting. Defiantly seems to be a puzzler…any help/suggestions accepted…Don
