Blower problem?

Questions about repairs and parts for other brands of furnaces and air conditioners. Please note that our speciality is Coleman and Nordyne products, so our knowledge of other brands may be limited.

Have a Beckett #AF9 oil burner, when I turn up the thermostat and the burner comes on, I can hear it running and the flame comes on. It will run for about a minute without the blower kicking in and shut off. After about a minute the blower starts then the furnace comes on and runs fine. It seems that the timing is off, the furnace should run and when it gets hot the blower should start, any ideas?

A bad fan switch maybe, hard to say without testing the circuit.

Thanks,
Robert
